The Sun and the Moon

Sun and Moon, both signify the relationships we have in this life.
These two great luminaries, spherical bodies who rule our day and night, placed in a synchronized order to provide us energy, illumination and calendar.

The Sun gives its light to the moon, in turn moon receives and reflects the Sun’s light .Same way a man plants life in the Woman’s womb and the woman conceive and nurture it. May be that’s why, they are called lovers.

The farmer who invests in the soil and the Earth’s absorption of seed and rain to grow vegetation, all this is the process of give and take.

Popular quotes on the Sun and the Moon

Sometimes I think of Sun and the Moon as lovers who rarely meet, always chase, and almost always miss one another.
But once in a while, they do catch up, and they kiss and the world stares in awe of their eclipse.

What is more beautiful? How the moon lets sun shine throughout the day or the way the sun lets the moon glimmer at night.

The moon is a loyal companion.
It never leaves. It’s always there, watching, steadfast, knowing us in our light and dark moments, changing forever just as we do. Every day it’s a different version of itself. Sometimes weak and wan, sometimes strong and full of light. The moon understands what it means to be human.
Uncertain. Alone. Cratered by imperfections.
